The Museum Without Walls hands on programs (outreach
and community events) has served the
community in general on a continuing basis for 12
years. For information on each program click
on the link to the left.
These
programs are staffed by approximatley100 scientists,
engineers, business people, and teachers who volunteer their time
to this worthwhile endeavor.

Who Attends Discovery Center Programs? The
majority of children are from Ventura and the Conejo and San Fernando
Valleys. In addition we regularly draw schools and home schoolers
from outside the local area from Santa Barbara to El Segundo to Glendale.
*International Science Center Award for
Innovation for RAYS: Honorable mention given by the Association of Science and
Technology Centers in Washington DC. The competition included 350 + science
centers from around the world.
