MATH MIDWAY 2011

Southern California families experienced a high voltage experience at The Discovery Center this summer. We hosted the mind-boggling, hands-on carnival of math exhibit, Math Midway, which was a tremendous success.

This 4,500 square foot traveling exhibition was created by The Museum of Mathematics in New York, with the goal of showing kids the fun and the excitement of math in their daily lives.

This "West Coast Premier" exhibition was housed in the heart of Thousand Oaks and included:

- square wheel tricycle
- organ function grinder
- roller graphicoaster
- the ring of fire
- mysterious harmonograph
- miles of tiles
- amazing acrobats
